The Gold Medal Floribunda of this year’s Rose Trial in Rome (Italy) went to Rosa ‘EVEzamont’ from Eve & Rateau (France). It is a frilled, pink and white floribunda rose.

In this category the Silver and Bronze Medal went to numbered varieties from respectively Richardier and Delbard; also French breeders.

In the category Hybrid Tea Gold went to Rosa ‘ADAsimagruaud’ Gruaud Larose from Michel Adam, again from France. It is a fragrant, light pink Hybrid Tea which won in Rome also this years’ Fragrance Prize. Renaissance rose ‘Poulren029’ Lilo brought in this category the Silver Medal home for Danish breeder Poulsen. Bronze In the category Hybrid Tea was for Rosa ‘ORAmonel’ Les Roseraies Orard in France.

A numbered variety from NIRP of France received in the category Shrub Rose a Gold Medal.

The single to semi-double blooms are dark red with a yellow centre. The Gold Medal for Climbers went to Rosa ‘VISeureye’ from Belgium breeder Visser.
