Leucothoe with little flames

Leucothoe fontanesiana ‘Little Flames’ was selected in 2004 by Dutch grower Ron van Opstal from Zundert. The name already suggests that this Leucothoe produces small ‘flames’ in the growing period. In the winter ‘Little Flames’ is completely red. The height will approximately be 50 cm. Royalty management agency Plantipp from IJsselstein will introduce this new variety in Europe on the Dutch trade fair for hardy nursery stock Plantarium 2012.
