Dutch based Viscon Group designs production lines for production processes in Agro & Food. The group recently launched AimFresh. This new retail division is focusing on innovative ideas for packaging and accessories for plants, and fresh produce in retail online and in stores. One of the lines AimFresh introduced to the European market is The Gardians, a year round ‘mail your plants’ program.
The Gardians are young plants which can be sent via regular mail or placed in every store with no maintenance requirements. The young plants are packed in special high tech packaging which keeps the plants fresh without extra care. The packaging has been designed in different themes to cater to everyone interested in Grow Your Own. The line includes now Italian Mix, Barbeque Mix, Tea Mix and Salad Mix.
The Viscon Group collaborates for the Gardians program with the German nurseries Gärtner Pötschke GmbH, Ahrens+Sieberz GmbH & Co KG and BALDUR-Garten. At the last month held trade fair Fruit Logistica 2017 in Berlin (Germany) the group announced that it will also join forces with Israeli young plant producer Hishtil.
